Campanile LED Upgrade (FY2013)

This project replaced the high pressure sodium (HPS) lights that illuminated the campanile at night, and installed LEDs. With the increased ability to focus the light with the LEDs, we were also able to eliminate 1/3 of the fixtures. This reduction and lamp change reduced the wattage needed to less than 10% of what was used with the HPS lights. The estimated annual savings is $2,000 (FY13 rates) and paid for itself in 1.5 years!
